BemerkungenMy partner and I both saw it as we were sat with friends in their back garden. I had time to say 'oh my god look at that' and point - from when it appeared over head to when it disappeared fairly low on the horizon. The moon was still rising and low behind rooftops.. The sun had just set and it was surprisingly bright to see shooting stars. I've seen hundreds of shooting stars as a casual observer. This was the second brightest and one of the longest passages across the sky. Wondered if it was an early perseid but didn't have time to check constellations positions.(might have looked a bit rude!) Posted it facebook but no response as to whether others had also seen it.
