BemerkungenI was looking between Merak in Ursa Major and Pollux in Gemini as the fireball came into view around 42 degrees above the horizon, the head of the fireball was moving extremely fast from left to right and practically horizontal, there was no smoke trail just a hazy brightness slightly behind the head which after about 1 second grew much brighter and less the 0.5 second later stopped in bright flash of white and yellow. No sound was heard nor could I see any smoke as the sky was quiet dark with no moon in the sky at this point in my observation session. I hope that this data is of use to you. Eyes up, Clear Skies.
