it looked like a shooting star falling from the sky. I fully expected to hear some kind of firework sound, or hear something crash into the earth but it was silent. It was a beautiful bright white light arc, with a green tail

It looked like a firework shooting up into the sky but then got incredibly bright and that is when I realized it was possibly a shooting star/meteor that was incredibly close to the earth
