BemerkungenI think it might be helpful that my first thought was that it could have been a comet firework. But it was very early in the morning, I was in a place outside of civilization, and it didn't have the sparkly look of a firework. Then, I thought that maybe an airplane exploded above me and it was a small piece of shrapnel which obviously wasn't the case either. I just don't know what else it could have been that I saw other than a small meteor.

BemerkungenThere was a fast train of light, then a small reddish orange "explosion" where immediately afterward, all the light disappeared. I would estimate the size of the "explosion" to be similar to a size 3-4 soccer ball. It was very small.
